That is why I believe the man who signed them deserves 5-10 games to get them firing on all cylinders and gelling, otherwise there really was no point backing him from McNally's point of view - any new gaffer is going to have to work with what he's got until January, when most players are over-priced anyway.
I would imagine McNally is watching the situation closely and has too given Hoots at least 10 games to get things gelling properly, in my personal opinion
But Waddock is still nothing like the other thing you mentioned tbh
