His views seem to be more in the Hoots keep the faith camp

as opposed to Hoots out, or the middle ground, but at least Waddock isn't clearly on a troll mission like the thing he was compared to (am I still allowed to say troll these days, even if I'm trying to defend someone who clearly isn't???)
