Well we would have needed someone in his place had he gone earlier, of course

and we don't know how that would have turned out.

Holt was my fave player for his first three seasons, but things weren't the same with him after he handed in that transfer request.

Anyway it is all by the by. Holt being with us wouldn't have made a difference today.
