That the concerns/issues/moans posted by MOST people do not relate to our home form so in many ways what happens against Villa this weekend is irrelevant to the concerns being expressed (except maybe if Lambertb outmanoevres Hughton tactically with some bold move during the game and Hoot fails to react.)
Yet you can guarantee if we beat Villa there will be lots of posts from the likes of Pants asking "where are the moaners now" and claiming that a home win has vindicated all those who defend Hughton.
I have huge doubts about Hughton because of his away tactics and moan about them a lot but I of course 100% want us to win every game we play.I guess if things continue to decline for a while and there comes a game where for the greater good I feel losing may be in our best interests because it might bring about the managers departure then that position may change a bit but even then I would feel torn rather than ever actually wanting us to lose.
How we set up and approach the Villa game is largely irrelevant to whether us moaners have a point. How we set up and approach the games at Stoke and Arsenal however is very different because they are away games.
