The best restaurant in the Old Town that I found was Nishta. Most other food places were distinctly average and expensive. It's veggie, but don't let that put you off. Superb flavours, and great value. Recommend the home made blackberry wine too.

Also recommend walking the Old Town walls, some great views.

Cable car is also worthwhile.
