laughing is a natural response to finding things amusing

I don't people should not be allowed to laugh at what they find amusing

but to make fun of people who are innocent or who don't deserve to be treated differently, that says a lot about the mentally of the person making fun of them

I didn't read the thread properly below about the disabled lesbians tbh, so I can't really comment on who said what - but it's clear that some people are just small minded bigots (you don't fall into this category from what I can tell, so I wouldn't worry about what you laugh at or find funny)

I skim read the article, and it does seem to be full of rather bizarre circumstances, so I can see why it's something to find amusing, the article not what actually happened to the lady/victim etc

Look at Frankie Boyle for instance, he rips it our of everyone, including people most probably wouldn't even dare going near in terms of comedy, but I get the impression he's not actually a bigot at all, he's just making fun of bigotry (which is fair play imo, but probably not everyone's cup of tea)

I very much doubt Boyle would actually want to hurt people the way his humour suggests, as for some proper bigots though, I think they enjoy trying to over-power those they think so little of

it's probably just fear, fear that they might become disabled one day, or gay, (not a different race though tbf, bit impossible) but you get what i'm saying (I hope)
