That, basically, most pubs east of Norwich are actually s**t.

Any exceptions? kind of depends what you're looking for and how far you'll go. Most of the better ones (or at least the pubs in the better locations) focus almost entirely on dining.

The three pubs in Reedham are ok and the Ferry at Stokesby is nice. All three are by the river so nice weather helps.

But if you look at the traditional village pubs in, say, Brundall, Lingwood, Strumpshaw etc, they are all universally abominable (imho).

And Blofield, where I grew up, used to have three pubs. It now has the grand total of none.
