depends on the choice of vest i think

a string vest should be teamed with a black sock/white trainer combo, whereas a full cotton singlet really ought to be graced with a classic white logo-ed sport sock (pref adidas) and tan leather sandal match up. no sense in looking a f**king prat, even if you are on holiday.
