A person's brain develops based on the environment they live in

when we're young it's easy to learn languages and pick up local accents etc

looks like this lady's brain isn't quite firing in the same way anymore, and might be a bit like how foreigners learn new languages without having the local experience to shape the accent

whatever happened in her brain during the migraine stage, obviously affected the way her brain picked up 30/40 odd years of her local environment

as I said, the brain is very complex - wouldn't expect you to understand tbf ;)
