Bob Gardham, ex Chief Exec of what was the old 'southern tv' ( bought out by granada group) was my dads best man at his wedding and best mate....the three of them used to socialise alot and bob used to make sure he got david and my dad free tickets to the dell....not forgettig one for me!! In fact during the mid 80's and early 90's whenever norwich played at the dell my dad would take my mum and me and make a weekend of it, spending time with bob....davisld came a couple of times for the match....

In the 90's bob became head of channel 4 sport, and as I lived in cheltenham used to send me 2 free ch4 vip passes for the chelt races!! - never forget me or my dad! I believe david continued friendships down in southampton hence watchig them.
