Good win

Only negative for me was the way we sat back after the goal. Can understand not wanting to concede a stupid goal straight away but we stopped doing what we had been doing well for the previous 15 minutes and just let them have the ball. A better team might have punished us.

Other than that quite promising. Fer looks good and will be even better when fully fit. Redmond was excellent and should have been MOM. Johnson was much better and take a bow Bassong who even though not 100% is just a class defender.

Elmander was a bit disappointing but will give him the benefit of the doubt and put that down to fitness.

Aside from the game anyone else clock the slightly embarrassing incident when Bassong came over to applaud the Barclay who all started chanting Leroy, Leroy!
