Well this is why Elmander should be really useful.

But we'd need to mix up our wingers much more. We could switch from Snod left and Redmond right on their natural feet crossing to both RvWW and Elmander (and an onrushing Fer) in a rather regular 4-4-2 and in the same match invert the wingers and use Elmander as the number 10 to hold up the ball and play through/make lay-offs to the cutting in wings or overlapping wing-backs.
