he had a great game today, & it was never a penalty in a million years, unlike the push on him in their area. on another day we wouldve got a penalty, van wolfswinkels header wouldve gone in and we wouldve won 2-0 easily, despite playing craply.
i dont blame hughton at all for today, the players had no idea how to break them down, the passing was just about the worst ive ever seen since mike milligan and sean carey were playing, and the showing in the last 20 from some of the players seemd like theyd given up.
the players need to stand up and be counted. the manager can pick the team the tactics and tell them what to do but if they dont perform its the players fault.
very poor today but its only the 2nd game and lucily we onlty have to wait 3 days to put it right.
