Getting us to 11th last season was an incredible achievement

For me it didn't matter how it happened because I always felt Hughton had a good 6 or 7 players here he had to use on the bench at times who he didn't rate and knew wouldn't get any game time.

But it's natural for everyone to expect things to be slightly different this season in terms of how we perform away from home against lesser sides after clearing out the players he doesn't want and spending ?25m replacing them.

McNally won't let last seasons incredible achievement get in the way if he feels the team should be doing better, we all know how McNally works.
