Elmander season long loan makes a lot of financial sense.

Obviously if we bought him he would be ooking for a 2-3 year deal which wouldnt be good for a guy who is 32.

Also by doing a loan deal we probably pay him what GAL were paying him and getting him off their books.

It looks a very low risk deal with lots of upside and not much downside unless he gets a season ending injury (The loan might have an injury clause too!)

As Ben said last night, he is a Carlo Nash type signing.
