After flicking thru a coupla sites, he reminds me of another Elmander. Done ok at Championship/Series B level, but never good enough for higher. As soon as his new "big" team have had the opportunity, they buy better.

Worth a punt? When you look at how Fulham beef out their squad with experience, Riise, Berbatov, Danny Murphy, Damian Duff have clearly done a job recently, and the list just goes on.
Bolton had the same for a decade.
To stay in the hunt for a "top" striker or 2, I don't think we have another 18Mil.

Both Elmander and Caracciolo could be nice little purchases for a couple of seasons, get them working with the youngsters, whilst being available for first team duties.

I would like to see RVW and Hooper get a destructive partnership, so perhaps it wouldn't be out of the question to get either of them in, for strength in depth.
