Movies I have recently seen.

Elysium..... pretty good, a little predictable, nice effects

The Wolverine.... It was OK, worth a late night rent.

Pacific Rim...... visually stunning movie, decent story line.

The Lone Ranger........ way too long.... not good when you start to get bored.

The Place Beyond The Pines....... great stuff, without spoiling it its basically two movies which overlap

The Great Gatsby.......visuals were excellent but this film bored me to tears....... yet its claimed to hold true to the book......now I know why I hate books so much if this is regarded as a work of genius.

This Is the End........ I didn't find this as funny as it was hyped up to be. Still worth a watch.

Man of Steel,,,,,, should be called when Superman lost his smile....

Oblivion...... without giving any spoilers the plot is kind of ripped from a 2009 film with a one word name of 4 letters.
Add in some action sequences and boom.....

The Iceman....... brutal film not for the kids but very enjoyable film based on a real person and events.

2 guns....... fun late night action flick.

The Heat........ not bad, thought it would be terrible but was actually pretty funny in parts.
