But given the quality of players we had out (best two players from last season plus two of the top three summer signings) and that Everton were a) pretty much at full strength and b) far more used to playing together given they were virtually the same team as last year, then it was a really good point. It will take time for this team to gel, as was the case in each of the last three (successful) seasons.
