MY RATINGS

8 - Ruddy - solid.

9 - Whittaker - Brilliant determination to score and create the other goal too. MOTM.

7 - Turner - Did OK.

7 - Martin - Did OK.

6 - Garrido - caught of of position a few times.

8 - E Bennett - quality crosses and worked very hard tracking back to allow Whits to get forward.

4 - Howson - Very poor when playing in front of the back 4.

6 - Johnson - did what he does.

6 - Redmond - shouldn't be trying to take on several players whilst he's in deep areas, needs to be doing that higher up the pitch. Lost the ball a bit too easily. Didn't create anything.

4 - Hoolahan - far too weak, lost the ball too often, didn't create chances.

8 - van Wolfswinkel - got in the right places, good pace, scored with a superb header, but he's a bit lightweight and didn't link well with the midfield.

8 - Tettey - by far the best player at winning the ball back and keeping it.

HOOTS - he needs to learn that Howson isn't much good in front of the back 4 and should only be considered for the Wes position, and that Tettey is by far the best defensive central midfielder.
