User Posted Link - advantage being that when the coil goes (they all do, in time), replacements are about ?3-4 whereas other kits you have to replace the whole top end (about ?10). Scruffty says the variable voltage ones are The Ones, I haven't tried those yet (once you've got the kit you can buy all the bits separately so getting a variable voltage battery if I ever want to is easy).
You have to buy some juice too, I got two 10ml bottles (one vanilla - nice but too sweet for all day; one caramel). The 30ml bottles are obviously better value but I didn't know what I'd like. After some more test purchases turns out I love the apple one. Apparently loads go for the tobacco-tasting ones but then realise they don't actually like the taste of tobacco after a while, but apparently they're pretty close to oldskool fags tastewise.
I went for the 16/18-strength ones; I smoked between 15-20 Marlboro Lights a day and it's been no hassle switching. If you smoke more/stronger cigarettes go for the stronger juice. Some people still smoke one or two oldskool fags first thing then vape the rest of the day - it's whatever you fancy, really, as basically it's a substitute.
One difference is you don't feel the hit so fast (another reason some stick to ordinary fags first thing), so getting the amount right is trial and error. I went overboard on day two but now get through 1.5-2ml juice each day.
If you don't want to get the kit the alternative is to get the bits separately. The batteries of 900mAh easily last a day. The top end, think about the bits you'll have to replace over time (several weeks/a few months and the coil burns out) and work out what's cheapest/best.
