Depends how far you want to walk

You have the Indian Spice out on Thorpe Road which is a 10-15 min walk from the Nelson. Really nice walk too by River Green taking in the Fat Cat and Canary, Town House, Rivergarden, The Buck and the Rushctters on the way/way back.
