Yes, simply because it's a build up of things...

...poorly motivated players, shocking transfer dealings, confusing team selections / tactics / subs, poor results, damaging man-management, a multitude of players bought to develop who never did - the list goes on.

Ultimately, the buck stops at Worthy's door.
