well, he's seemed rather deluded in recent years about the state he was in

appeared not to be able to understand why he wans't being picked for England even though he seemed to be pretty incapable of playing for anyoine else either (of course I acknowledge that the possibility exists that he may have been misquoted by shady journalists!)

I think it's also that his voice grates on me so I automatically find myself irrationally prejudiced against almost anything he says...
