It's unlikely that all of the new guys will instantly fire and all of them would be described as "promising for the future" so I really hope they get time.
Everyone in the league is strengthening though so anyone who thinks we'll do better than last season cos we've spent isn't being realistic.
We seem to be recruiting wisely and to an exciting plan, so I think we've given ourselves a good chance of surviving, and, with a fair wind of kicking on in the next year or two.
The injury to Ruddy last season and the lack of strength in depth up front should be a warning of how things could go south if we lose key players (or if the new forwards don't click)
But yep, our recruiting this summer still feels like progress and that summary in the Guardian looked fair.
