I quit watching or listening to current affairs, or chat show based things, because of the

convenient way "sorry, we have to move on", or "sorry, we've ran out of time"

Usually they've only been a guest for about 5 minutes

So there's all that build up to having them on "get your texts in" "what do you think?", and then the whole thing is cut short on purpose under the pretense of "sorry, we've ran out of time"
