Billy sharp

So assuming we are still in for quagmire and he will be 8m plus and could set the league on fire or be a compleat flop, would anyone take billy sharp as a 3/4th striker as saints want to offload for 1.8m iv just read.

Would that be a safer punt that could still score goals and be more financially astute as we have splashed out a lot already and could do with a new cb aswell.
