The thing is preseason games are purely about getting

players up to speed and fit... in the best environment for them. CH will look at Wes and think what game is he most likely to have the space to hone his touch and obviously didn't think the Brighton game was the right one.
It's also about experimentation and I don't think we will see anything like his 1st choice line up until approaching the last couple of friendlies.
He will have learnt loads from these games though.
