mine....

Go for a few beers early evening around the sports bars in leidesplei, many bars do amstel or heineken (local) but I like to find the belguim beers like duval...

Then go to one of the few Schwarma houses for great and cheap food ( with beer) - schwarma, extra bread, chilli sauce and garlic....

Then go to one of the street cafes for coffee and a rest before a decent pub crawl around the square, ending up in one of the late night bars with dance floors - chatting to the locals...
