sadly....

cant see us winning it in my life time..... other european nations are geared up to support their national team better (less foreign players playing at highest level in their countries, and better backing from their fa's - ie, winter break, less injuries etc|) - not to mention seems to be more pride in the shirt and playing for their respective countries, where as england players seem to care more about appearance fees in the champions league for their clubs......

Also, african nations and the like of australia/usa getting better and better and closing the gap as major south american and european countries pull away from us.
