Not sure we'll ever know the true story behind him leaving

lots of conspiracy theories went around when he left. It probably was though that he thought there's more potential at Villa than here, and to be honest, that's still the case I would bet.

Difference is they're far away from their potential and we're prob matching ours.

He would have known that after he'd kept us up that first season all our external debt was paid off and there was loads more cash available.

I will always Love Lambert for what he did for us but I don't half like finishing above him. Just hope we can get a win over him next season. Wouldn't am surprised though if he has an Andy Marshall type vodoo over us.
