Makes sense to me

He had a buy out cause of ?17m or something and we got quoted way more in January than the ?8m or so we paid.

We got him cheap because we paid a chunk upfront in March which paid their outstanding player wages off and somehow assisted the club president by doing this too (not clear on this bit though)
