Theme of the Fortnight is how desperately unlucky Worthy was in the transfer market in the summer, how we nearly, NEARLY had the most fabbest bestest team ever, then it all fell apart through cruel ill-luck and the devilish schemes of others, so he HAD to buy all these people who have turned out to the crap, it wasn't his FAULT, he didn't WANT them, he HAD to, but NOW we're getting the REAL players, the ones that Worthy wanted ALL THE TIME etc etc

Until they turn out to be crap too and get sent back while Worthy says he only took them as a short term expedient but the NEW January transfer targets are the DOG'S ... [repeat ad infinitum]
