Becchio

With all of the transfer rumours this guy seems to have been a little bit forgotten and cynical fans even hypothesising that he was some form ?3 appeasement to disgruntled fans and that hoots had no intention of using him.
I actually think he has a really good chance this year to make a mark of the premier league.
Despite his Argentinian origins he seems to be very English style forward. Strong, good in the air and great link up play.
With holt here he was always going to play second fiddle but maybe the cards were on the table for holt leaving and becchio is a ready made replacement. Hooper is more of a Michael Owen style forward and excelled last season alongside samaras .... A huge "English style" forward. Wolfy too may well be a continental style striker who's technical ability and finishing is of a high standard but can he hold the line on his own against the physical bashing he will get from hull.
Becchio let's not forget has excelled against these types of opposition for a few years now and certainly won't mind kicking a few defenders around the pitch holt style.
I bet he will 10+ goals this season but mostly good assists for our star forwards
