He's delighted, mission Escape Route is coming on nicely.

But obvs he has to play annoyed, as that's the plan. Next stage will be grumpily suggesting that the board let him down by not being willing to pay Hooper what he was demanding. Whether he does that himself, or just briefs one of his newspaper chums to do it remains to be seen.
