Portland

Positives:
-Redmond looks a great buy. Seems to like to cut back
to the middle and have a shot more than a true winger.
Would be interesting to see him in Wes's spot. No offence
Dandy H.
-Whitaker really does a good job of getting foward. Think
Martin will have his hands full keeping him out.
-Russell Martin looks very natural at CB. I wouldn't spend
money there unless a gifthorse pops up on the radar.
-Ricky W. does a very nice job of holding up the ball and puts in a shift on defence.

Negatives:
Yes I know it's preseason but carries over from last year.
-I don't get Johnny Howson. He should be bombing foward more to give Wes options. Him and Fox were terrible as a pair. If you're gonna play one striker, you better have a midfielder supporting and Howson just doesn't seem to. I expect Leroy will fill that role.
-I had hopes for Fox but just don't see him offering much
-team speed still seems very slow, guess we are getting Hooper but think we need pace up front
