Opinion...........

I think 5 million is a lot of cash for a guy who.....

(a) Has just one year left on his deal and refuses to sign a new one.

(b) Has not really scored goals in a top european division

(c) Has not really attracted much serious interest from other PL clubs at the current price.

I think he could be a great signing but I just think we are overpaying.
