What gets me about gaming these days is...

Everything has to be social, online clan based and multiplayer. I enjoy gaming on my own, shut away in the dark, normally when the Mrs is away.

I have a ps3 and will likely be tempted by a ps4. I play FIFA and F1 and I'm halfway through The Last of Us which is ace.
