Options aren't as risky as some makeout tbh

Yes, some strategies are not for the feint hearted but when the downside is managed and the underlying is careful selected, over a large enough portfolio of trades, providing the probabilities are understood then profits CAN be made.

But you're right, it's not for novices, hence my dabbling will be restricted to virtual/practice accounts until I find some strategies I feel comfortable with.

I was just wondering if any other WOTBers already traded and if so what they're favourite strategies were.

Thanks for the warning though (I'm definitely not counting on being outstandingly lucky, luck doesn't last the course, only strategies weighted slightly in your favour over many trades can and do imo)

I've studied black scholes theory so I'm not totally oblivious to the risks/profits on offer

Just thought it might be time soon to try cashing in a bit by putting some of the theory into practice......
