Regarding control of the internet, I think there are many forces at play..

sorry to use the phrase 'thin end of the wedge', but yeah, that's now I see it. Forcing people to opt in to a 'yes, porn please' list is a pretty huge step and I think it would be naive not to consider how such a list might be used.
