Sorry to labour the point but if the review had been "far from conclusive"

he would have been given not out. All we, as viewers see is the hotspot, the third umpire has that plus the stump mike plus HD. If he sees a deflection and there is a corresponding sound then that is shirley enough.

We dont hear the stump mike. But after the event we see snicko which clearly shows us there was a sound as the ball snicked the bat.
