Strikers

I hate watching NCFC play one up front.

Come to think of it, I hate watching most teams play with that system. Always have.

The fact that it has been reported Chris Hughton has not given up hope of persuading Toivonen to join the ranks - even though he apparently doesn't want to come, has questionable temperament, etc - leads me to believe that there aren't many other 'irons in the fire' in terms of replacements for the forward line.
I'd feel a lot more comfortable if I had belief that at least three of the strikers already released/sold were being replaced - given the way it unfolded this time last year, I'm afraid I don't.

OK, yes, there's still a few weeks to go, and maybe the club have been able to play a few cards closer to their cheir chest than others - but I reckon we'll see another last minute panic loan of Harry Kane proportions, maybe even two of 'em. Needless to say, that won't be good enough - especially if the Wolf gets crocked.
