Further to the "overspending" threads further down--

(and I'm now stating the obvious but I'll carry on anyway), I'm not too worried about our possible overstretching. All the big names signings are (will be) on long term deals so if we go tits up in the next couple of seasons their sell-on values will be still quite high, unless they're total crap of course. Also, I believe that the board would not be so silly as to have no clauses factored in for a relegation situation, meaning big wage cuts or sensible sell-on money. (See above). The huge parachute money for, I believe, 5 years descending, would also give the board a bit of breathing space to sort out the situation, something the scum didn't have when they belly-flopped.
