"Flow back water" is very easy to deal with,

It part of the process of retrieving the gas? That's why there's compressor stations, to split the gas from the water. We know exactly what is in the circuit in terms of frac chemicals. We have MSDS (material safety data sheets) which document exactly what's in them and what their risks and effects are. We have heaps of ecotoxicological data. It's being tested all of the time. Where are you getting these statements from?

We're not just in the desert. I work in pretty well populated areas around QLD and NSW, often in farmers paddocks etc. it's a pretty safe, clean industry when done properly.
