For me the best signings would be

Fer and alderweireld. They, along with the ones we've already confirmed, would change the whole outlook. They would basically complete the solid base and then we would have the summer to find another top striker or two, and maybe a couple of up and coming promising players who could start in the reserves and try to challenge the fringe players.

I really really hope we can wrangle those although alderweireld is looking a bit less likely today :-(.
