The Holt transfer made me think just what an absolute legend Wes is

5 years now and counting, still a huge part of the team. He was signed during a dark period for our beloved club, had massive expectations put upon him, had to replace arguably our greatest ever player, struggled to win the fans over, but just got on with it. When we were relegated he didn't gripe, he just got on with it, voted into League One team of the year, then followed that up with the same for the Championship, then flourished in The Prem. Overlooked for his nation when frankly everyone bar Trap could see he the talent they were missing...did he gripe? Of course he didn't he just let his football do the talking and got on with it again. NCFC are a club that are evolving, getting linked with all and sundry, yet Wessi remains integral and I would imagine RvW etc will be amazed at what magic hides in that left boot of the little Irish magician. Legend.
