There's a balance

I can't watch women's football or rugby or boxing, for example, even though they are good "in their own right", because what's on offer is SO much worse than the men's version

I don't know how tennis has managed to make itself an exception to that general rule

And I absolutely don't buy the "it's just ignorance of the fantastic sport that's on offer" argument. People know about women's sport, but on the whole it doesn't attract big audiences because it isn't worth watching
