He probably wasn't much fun for Hughton to manage tbf.

Hughton would have had no emotional attachment to him (unlike all of us) and was pretty much forced to give him a new contract and play him all season despite him not being that deserving of it.

Makes sense for him to go and enjoy himself and Hughton can bring in someone he wants.
