Right, if Holt is going I expect some big activity in the transfer market this week

I know we've spent ?8m on RVW but all the prem clubs are spending this summer. West Ham on Carroll, Swansea buying Bony for ?12m, Southampoton currently linked with about ?40m worth of player bids. Actually spending ?5m on a couple of players would still see us as one of the smallest spenders in the league and therefore probably still one of the favourites for relegation.

I therefore hope to see these links come off and the likes of Toivonen/Hooper, Fer and Olsson walking through the door in the very near future. Whether or not any of them are big enough characters to fill the hole Holty's absence will leave in the dressing room remains to be seen.
