If you've ever been to Bala, you'd be astonished. It's even harder to imagine than a team from St Helens being champions of the world, but never mind that for now.

So i was sat in the smoke hut at lunchtime and one of the other lads, reading his phone, burst out laughing aqt a tweet from his mate. This mate, who'd been sleeping on the couch for six months until very recently being allowed back into the marital bed on a trial forgive (yes, I know), texted his wife to say "Sorry love, got to work late, I'll see you later".

He eventually came home to an empty house, to find the TV on, and a paused picture of himself in the front row of the Bala vs Tallinn match. He was wearing a hi-vis coat - not ideal for camouflage.
