I wonder if this is the week we'll sign a few Europeans. I've suspected we might since I

heard Hoots on the radio 5 interview where he was talking about home grown players. Considering he was invited on as a top example of playing British players, he was very low key about it. He credited Lambert with most of it and talked about how you had to compete in this league.

I expect he's right but I'm a little cautious about it all. One of the things I loved most about Lambert was the way he went for the young hungry up and coming players from the British leagues and I love our solidly Brit players like Holt and (Russ) Martin.

I'm sure I'll love the euro players we sign too but as I say, I'm a bit cautious. There was a bit of an uncomfortable story about Fer and the Swedish chap doesn't seem to want to come here (and seems a bit of a thug!) Also I'm already worried about RVWW having a good season then spending all of January or next close season worrying about him being poached.

And what if we have a fantastic season and make a Euro place? How long before I become one of those awful arrogant fans who's not happy with anything my club does?

I'm not good with change!
